Hello and welcome to my website and blog! My name is Beth and I am an avid traveler and curious world citizen. I have transformed this passion into a new business as a travel advisor.

What is a travel advisor? Well, it is the new word for travel agent but, really, we are so much more. We go beyond punching codes into a computer to secure an airline ticket for you. We get to know you and your family, your dreams and preferences. We spend time with you to understand what makes your travel the best and what might possibly make it the worst. We develop trust and relationships.

It is our job to take all we have learned and turn it into a fabulous travel experience for you. Using our vast networks of suppliers all over the world, we create custom itineraries for you, including unique experiences that you can not find online. We also advise with all the other travel stuff you need to know - visa requirements and health requirements. What to pack for safari or some customs that are important to understand for your trip to Japan. All of that extra information which can make a trip so much smoother.

And … we are available 24/7 for the entirety of your travels. Have a problem with a flight? Call me and then go off to the lounge or grab a bite to eat. I will deal with the airlines while you relax.

With Google at our fingertips, you might ask - why use a travel advisor when I can book it myself? Well, here are just a few answers to those why’s.

I will save you time and make the process less complicated.  Time - our most precious commodity. Yes, you can spend your time researching and booking your travel. And you can cut your own hair and do your own taxes, too. Travel is an advisor’s jam. It is our job to know a location, to understand what is new and hot, and how to navigate all the changes in the travel industry. It is our job and our passion.

Our suppliers are thoroughly vetted. We have all heard about the fake reviews on many travel sites. Or the stories of the AirBnB that was booked online but did not actually exist. That just simply won’t happen here. Our network of suppliers are vetted and maintain the highest level of quality experiences for our clients.

I can get access to deals and unique experiences that you simply can not. Some suppliers only work with advisors. And, because of the volume of business that we do with suppliers, we often have access to deals that are not available to the public. Oh, and for unique experiences? Yea, we know that guy.

Your trip will be tailored to you. I will provide a travel experience that is curated for you, based on what interests you have. No reason to take someone else’s dream trip.

We are not a search engine. We are actually invested in your happiness.  We have developed a relationship with you and so you matter to us. You experience matters to us. Your happiness matters to us. I realize you have lots of travel sites at your fingertips but when is the last time you could say that they were actually invested in your happiness?

We are available 24/7 while you travel. If you have ever had a problem in the middle of a trip that you put together yourself, you know how valuable this is. Stuff happens - from weather to civil unrest to flight cancellations. If I planned your trip, you would be relaxing and I would be on the phone. Easy as that.

It will not cost you any more. You set the budget for your trip, not me.  Prices I quote to you will never be above published rates. One caveat - advisors generally work in the mid- to luxe markets. If you are a backpack toting, hostel staying traveler, then a travel advisor is probably not for you.

So, those are a few answers to why you might want to use a travel advisor. I want to close with one last question …. WHY NOT GIVE IT A TRY?

If you have some travel plans coming up, whether it is a flight or a weekend away or the bucket  list trip of a lifetime, why not give me a shout? Let’s chat and take it from there.
